Event Fishka helps to elderly from South, hosting young families from South Israel and organizing products needed for soldiers fighting in Gaza strip

Dear friends, 

 

1. During these difficult days Fishka is "mobilizing" to help soldiers from  Combat engineer units who are stationed in Gaza area and young families from  Ashkelon, that live under heavy missile attacks in  the south of Israel. We are inviting you to help us in raising funds to buy the items that our fighters need so much. Parcels will include T-shirts, socks, underwear and wipes. The cost of each such parcel is at least 30 shekels. Our goal is to collect 100 parcels, which means that we need 3,000 shekels.

UPDATE: Thank you all! We raised even more than 3000 shekels. We will make a report later, how we spent all your donations.

 

2. This Friday, Fishka will be hosting children from Ashkelon and their parents in Tel Aviv. Fishka volunteers organise tour in Kids Museum, happening and art classes for children.  During that time, a volunteer children psychologist will assist and consult parents.

Afterwards, families from Tel aviv and north areas will host the  30 families for a quiet Shabbat. In order to organise everything needed for this day (transportations, lunch, materials) we will need to raise 3000 shek. As a part of the program our volunteers and the kids will prepare parcels for soldiers, which will be sent onto military bases the following day. The parcels will include drawings that the kids from the south of Israel will draw for soldiers.
