Event NOM collective (Russia, SPB) presents: the screening of cosmic epic

NOM collective from St.Petersburg – it's when The Residents and Laibach meet Nikolai Gogol and Daniil Kharms at the streets of St.Petersburg.

Soviet / Russian experimental rock-band known for its highly eclectic avant-garde mix of art-rock, folklore, classical influences (including occasional bouts of operatic singing), innovative arrangements, and theatrical stage shows, continues the tradition of Russian surrealism and absurdism. Eccentric, multi-faceted and defying all categorization – NOM have become one of Russian rock’s brightest phenomena of the 90s.

Besides producing music, since 1991 NOM have been releasing a series of films, the last (and 9th) of them being StarWorms, 2012, which will be screened at Fishka for the first time in Israel.

Also an art exhibition of painter Nikolay Kopeykin, member of NOM collective, will be held by Fishka the same evening.
