Born  in 1958, Vladimir immigrated to Israel in 1989 from St. Petersburg.
 
Holds an M.A. in Cinematography from Moscow State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK). Vladimir has more than 30 years of experience working in different projects of informal education in Russia, US and Israel. In early 1980's  he started his Jewish education in the Soviet underground in Moscow and Leningrad. In 1995 he taught TANACH in Jewish University of St. Petersburg (Russia), in 2001 started his private TANACH reading groups in US.  In 2006 Vladimir came back to Israel and facilitated in Tel Aviv and Modiin groups for "TANACH reading as a cultural monument". He also works as a body worker in Rosen Method Bodywork style and work in post-production of documentary films.
