Immigrated to Israel with her family at the age of 10 from Latvia.
 
Rita holds a B.Ed. in Youth Advancement and Special Education from Beit Berl College.
 
Has worked for five years in the public sector with youth-at-risk and immigrant youth advancement.
 
Rita is a graduate of “Gvanim Olim” leadership program, held by “Shiluv” organization, aimed at enhancing pluralistic Jewish identity among immigrants from the former Soviet Union.
 
She is also a graduate of the Secular Yeshiva’s post-army-duty program, a graduate of the Intercultural Navigators program of the British Council in Israel and a student at Alma Hebrew College. Part of ROI community since July 2011.
