Helen had immigrated to Israel with her family at the age of 9 from Kishinev, Moldova.
Helen holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Management from Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and MBA from Tel Aviv University. In additional to the meaningful social activity Helen leads Operations and Quality department at Valens Semiconductor, one of most perspective Israel Hi-tech startup companies.
As Fishka’s chair of the board, Helen brings more than 15 years of experience working in various projects of informal education in Israel and abroad and was involved in numerous group-leading and social action projects. In her past, Helen was a founder and a general producer of an independent music rock-festival "Kursik"- an Israeli Woodstock for Russian-speaking community and one of the leaders of Young Zionist Organization. She is an active member of several Jewish-Renewal forums and alumni associations, such as Siach community and Gvanim-Program.
 
Helen is a co-founder of Fishka, and she served as an organization’s CEO more than 5 years, prior to being elected to chair of the board position.
